AramcoWorld is a bimonthly publication produced by Saudi Aramco. Aramco World’s goal is to increase cross-cultural understanding and knowledge of the histories, cultures and geographies of the Arab and Muslim worlds, as well as their global interconnections, past and present. Though the magazine has been around for decades, recent growth prompted Aramco to enlist the help of Herring Design in 2019. We then migrated and redesigned their mobile publication to increase its social media accessibility.

The main challenge for this project was developing the information hierarchy and structure. Going from a print publication to a mobile app presented a number of obstacles, including organization and legibility.
